The sanitary-and-epidemiologic conclusion across the Russian Federation, confirming is necessary for us that the equipment corresponds to sanitary-and-epidemiologic norms of the Russian Federation. If you delivered earlier the equipment to Russia, you have such document.

If such document is not given by you, it will be necessary for us to spend in Moscow complete expert examination of all knots and units about conformity to a sanitary code existing in the Russian Federation.

Without the given document we cannot pass customs registration of the equipment, i.e. we can not carry out import to the Russian Federation.

On existing norms the supplier provides the buyer with such documentation.

Sanitary-and-epidemiologic conclusion(hygienic certificate)

Sanitary-and-epidemiologic conclusion (hygienic certificate) is a document, confirming approval of the bodies of Federal service for Surveillance of Protection of Consumer Rights and Human Well-being of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social development (Rospotrebnadzor) to manufacture and import production, which complies with the set requirements, hygienic norms and sanitary regulations. Also it may be an official confirmation of the production safety for human's health. Sanitary-and-epidemiologic conclusion for production is drawn up on the special blank-forms.

Sanitary-and-epidemiologic production assessment is carried out according to statements of the Federal law from 30.03 1999. N 52-FL "On sanitary-and-epidemiologic human Well-being" and Decree of the Rospotrebnadzor from 21.11. 2005 №776 "On sanitary-and-epidemiologic production assessement". In some cases availability of sanitary-and-epidemiologic conclusion is a necessary term of issuance of the mandatory certificate of conformity GOST R.
Besides, sanitary-and-epidemiologic conclusion is obligatory when importing some kinds of goods are imported to the territory of Russia, according to the Letter to the FCS RF from 14.12. 2006 N 06-73/44168. 

Term of validity of the sanitary-and-epidemiologic conclusion ranges from 1 month to 5 years (it depends on the kinds of production, documents submitted, test results, decision of the expert, carrying out assessment).

Terms of issuance of sanitary-and-epidemiologic conclusion range from 2 weeks to 2 months.
